With this gear I can probably toss the multiclock out of the equation but since I have it I want to learn to use it and figure it could be a real help in the future if I get some older midi gear or figure out ways to take advantage of some of the other features it provides. So I’m hoping if I connect and set everything right I’ll be able to easily switch from working in Ableton to working outside of Ableton. The multiclock manual is only available in English for now. I’m also putting some midi modules off the digitone and digitakt and maybe something off the octatrack.
The other setup would be flip the multiclock to take transport and and clock from the octatrack and drive the setup that way. The idea is either run midi clock and transport and maybe notes sometimes from Ableton to the multiclock to an octatrack, digitone, and digitakt, and my modular setup through a midi to cv module. I think I’ve landed on what I want my setup to be, but who knows.
Maybe I figure this out, but I figured I would post in case I need help or my explanation of this setup can be of help to others.
